Caddis Farms in Cushing, Texas
Caddis Farms began as a grass fed beef company in Arkansas. In the spring of 2022, the owners, Justin and Allison, decided to move to East Texas and buy a farm. That’s when they started growing heirloom fruits and vegetables and making award-winning pickles.
At Caddis Farms, we take great pride in the quality and variety of our locally-grown produce. In a typical summer, we harvest 45-75 pounds of crisp cucumbers daily. This creates a year-round bounty of 2000 jars of our famous pickles.
In late spring and summer, indulge in the sweetness of XL yellow meat watermelons that weigh between 30-45 pounds. You can also pick from a an assortment of purple hull peas, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupe and watermelons. Our farm transforms with the changing seasons. In the fall and winter months, you can find a colorful array of decorative gourds, pumpkins, radishes, beets, and so much more.
Our local Cushing, TX, farm is rooted in sustainable farming practices. We harvest our own seeds to replant for the next season. This preserves the rich flavors of the fruits and veggies. Stop by our farm to taste our heirloom produce.
Award-Winning Local Pickles
We are artisans of taste. Our farm fresh pickles have earned us the Grand Champion title at the 4th annual In a Pickle Festival in Houston, TX.
Out of 110 other vendors, our Icebox Dills captured the hearts and palates of the judges. We were proud to walk away with the 1st place trophy.
